Job Description: Painting General Manager

Job Summary: The position of General Manager is a multi-functional role to oversee and coordinate all aspects of customer service to include quoting projects utilizing our BRANDED Quoting Software and following our BRANDED customer service sales process. In addition, the position also requires managing project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction. The General Manager is the primary point of contact between customers requesting painting quotes and between clients and the painting team, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Background in residential painting is a plus.

The compensation for this position is both base wage and commission.  Fresh Coat Academy Workshop week attendance in Cincinnati will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Seek out new opportunities for painting projects
• Participating in various Networking events and Networking meetings
• Utilizing all aspects of our BRANDED customer service process to win projects
• Regular follow up with customers who have not decided on their painting proposal
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and expectations
• Plan and oversee painting projects from start to finish
• Select and manage both painter employees and sub-contractors
• Schedule and supervise painting crews
• Ensure quality control on all painting projects
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Reporting directly to the owner to review sales funnel and project related activities

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in consumer sales
• Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one with customers
• Experience as a Project Manager or Team Leader in the painting industry
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in software tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to meet Key Performance Indicators
